A body has been found in the search for a missing runner who was part of Team GB, Police Scotland have said.
Chris Smith, 43, disappeared on Tuesday October 27 after he set off on a run from Invervar near Aberfeldy in Scotland at around 3pm.
Police Scotland said at around 11.50am on Thursday October 29, two days after Chris was reported missing, the body of a man was found near Meall Garbh in the Glenlyon area.
The force said formal identification is yet to take place, but added the Team GB athlete’s family has been informed.
