Body of man found in Blue River in Breckenridge is identified.

A man’s body was found in the Blue River in Breckenridge on Monday and police are investigating the incident.

Police were called at 1:54 p.m. Monday to a report about the body, which was found in the river near the Airport Road Satellite Parking Lot, police said in a news release.

The man, who was wearing snowboarding boots and pants, has been identified. His name was not released Tuesday afternoon pending notification of family, police said.

The cause and manner of his death is being investigated by the Summit County Coroner’s Office.
