Brian Laundrie skeleton seen in sick Halloween decor mocking Gabby Petito case

Halloween skeletons have been labelled by sick trolls as Brian Laundrie following the discovery of his remains.

People shared photos on social media of decorative bones and coffins being laid out on October 31 as a cruel reference to the young man.

Police searching for Brian Laundrie in America found “partial remains” in the Florida wilderness last month.

Laundrie, 23, was identified as the main suspect in his fiancée Gabby Petito's disappearance and murder after the 22-year-old's body was found at the Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.

He returned home alone from a trip around the country with Gabby in her white 2012 Ford Transit van on September 1.

On September 17, Laundrie disappeared left his parents for a hike in the Carlton Reserve but was not seen alive again.

His discovered remains were positively identified through his dental records on October 21

A snap of a Halloween display posted online shows a skeleton sitting upright against a tree, beside a sign which reads: "Breaking News, we found Brian Laundrie.

A mock crime scene was also created at what appears to be a public park taken over by families in fancy dress, The Sun reports.

  • 'I watched dad shoot dead paedo on live TV for abusing me – but I won't condone killing'

Within the cordoned off and cobwebbed area is an open fabric coffin with fake human bones laid out inside.

Above the coffin by the skull is a sign reading: "Brian Laundrie"

A third nasty image shared on Twitter is of a skeleton's detached bones scattered on grass next to a backpack, and an open notebook on which the creator had written: “I’m sorry Gabby.”

The props were likely referencing a “salvageable” notebook and backpack which reportedly police found with Laundrie's remains.

One image was captioned: "Found my Halloween costume. I’m going to the house on Halloween!!!"

A different Halloween outfit was made up by a man in a green morph suit topped off with a flower mask.
