A husband is accused of killing his wife, putting her in a suitcase and dumping the baggage in a field near their home just days after the wedding.
West Yorkshireman Thomas Nutt, 45, is charged with the killing of Dawn Walker, 52.
Her body was found in a suitcase in a field by their home in Lightcliffe on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police detectives suspect Ms Walker was killed between Wednesday last week and Sunday according to reports.
Nutt and Ms Walker got married on October 27 after dating for two years.
The charged suspect will appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court this morning.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Detectives have charged a man with murder in connection with the body of a woman found in Lightcliffe on Sunday 31 October.
"Thomas Nutt, 45 of Shirley Grove, Lightcliffe has been charged with the murder of Dawn Walker which is believed to have occurred between Wednesday 27 October and Sunday 31 October 2021.
"He has been remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court (on Wednesday).
"The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are continuing its investigation into this matter."
Ms Walker's distraught family described her as a "loving daughter, mother, nanna, sister, auntie and friend".
Sister Lisa said: "My heart is truly broken."
The tribute continued: "In circumstances beyond our control, you were taken from us so suddenly.

Friends and family placed flowers and tributes at her home and at the Halifax spot where her body was discovered over the weekend.
