A kebab shop worker who used a doner meat knife to dismember his daughter’s body has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.
Hasan Uslu from Turkey, killed daughter Didem Uslu, 32, after she "came home drunk" and insulted her mother.
The dad said he ordered Didem to be respectful, but when she argued back, he lost his temper and strangled her to death.
Uslu told the court it was his daughter’s fault, but was found guilty of "deliberately killing" Didem, a belly dancer.
Police launched an investigation, and found fingerprints that belonged to Uslu on her arm.
Detectives later discovered Uslu had been trying to dispose of her body piece by piece and had used a meat knife from the kebab shop he worked at to do so.
Officers then used trained sniffer dogs to trace other parts of the body, all cut with precise and straight incisions.
In his confession to the police, Uslu stated his daughter had psychological problems, Hurriyet reported.
