Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Fu Cong, director of China’s Foreign Ministry Arms Control Department launched a scathing attack on the USA following mounting pressure on Beijing over the origins of the Coronavirus pandemic. The spokesman lashed out desperately attempting to change the narrative of Covid and turn the tables as China tried to shift blame to the USA. He accused President Biden’s investigation into Covid’s origins as a political stunt before demanding the World Health Organisation to instead investigate the USA for Coronavirus. His comments follow a statement released by President Biden where he pointed the finger at China branding how “critical information about the origins of this pandemic exists in the People’s Republic of China”.

Mr Cong said: “We once again urge the United States not to politicise the whole issue.

“I will say: scapegoating china cannot whitewash the US!”

But in a shocking moment, the Chinese director went on to accuse the USA of “hyping up” theories surrounding the origins of the deadly virus.

He slammed: “If the United States persists in hyping up the lab leak theory then they shall set an example and invite the WHO to investigate the false rhetoric and the University of North Carolina.”

But the chaotic war of words has taken another turn as China are now accusing the USA of being the birthplace of Covid.

The reverse theory, for which there is no evidence, is being pushed by Chinese officials within the ruling Chinese Communist Party and accused the United States of an elaborate ‘plot’ to frame China for harbouring Covid.

Despite claims by both sides, “no conclusion” has been reached by the US on where Coronavirus orginated from and China have failed to produce any evidence to back up their claim.

In a lengthy statement published by the White House on Friday, President Biden laid out his assertions that, through a range of factors from cooperation to attempts to conceal vital evidence from investigators, it is highly probable Coronavirus has its origins in China.

International community must respond to China fishing law breaches

President Biden said: “Critical information about the origins of this pandemic exists in the People’s Republic of China, yet from the beginning, government officials in China have worked to prevent international investigators and members of the global public health community from accessing it.

“To this day, the PRC continues to reject calls for transparency and withhold information, even as the toll of this pandemic continues to rise.

“We needed this information rapidly, from the PRC, while the pandemic was still new.”

He added: “Since taking office, my administration has renewed US leadership in the World Health Organization and rallied allies and partners to renew focus on this critical question.

“The world deserves answers, and I will not rest until we get them. Responsible nations do not shirk these kinds of responsibilities to the rest of the world.

“Pandemics do not respect international borders, and we all must better understand how COVID-19 came to be in order to prevent further pandemics.”

Coronavirus has tragically killed 4,490,000 people across the World since the first recorded cases in Wuhan in 2019.

Since then, records indicate around 216,000,000 people have been infected with the virus but that figure is believed to be higher.
