‘Incredibly tired’ Queen to rest at Balmoral amid Harrys book news

A "tired" Queen has reportedly headed on her annual summer break after news of Prince Harry’s book adds to her grief of Prince Philip’s passing, according to a royal Insider.

Prince Harry made the shock announcement he was going to write a tell-all memoir to be published next year in what is expected to reveal some Royal Family secrets.

It has been reported that the book caught the Royal Family off-guard as they had not been informed of the Duke of Sussex’s plans.

Following the announcement the Queen, 95, heading to her Scottish home Balmoral for a relaxing break, according to a source speaking to The Sun.

The source said: “She could not wait to get away. She is still grieving very deeply and wanted to head to Balmoral to escape from things. She is also incredibly tired.

“The announcement of Harry’s book, and the new claims that he could release four books, are the last thing she needed.

“It is only just over three months since Philip was buried, so the book announcement is incredibly insensitive and seems another two fingers to the monarchy.”

The source also told The Sun that she has advised others to keep calm and to not react.

Prince Harry’s memoir is due to come out sometime next year and will coincide with the Queen’s platinum jubilee year.
