Melania Trump celebrated her 51st birthday last Monday – but her ex-President husband failed to share a public message acknowledging her special day.
Born on April 26, 1970, Melania was raised in Sevnica, which is now in Slovenia but was then part of Yugoslavia, by her Communist party member father Viktor Knavs and mum Amalija Ulčnik.
The former First Lady of the United States and her husband, Donald Trump, spent Melania's birthday at the Mar-a-Lago resort, in Palm Beach, Florida, where they moved after leaving the White House.
Melania has been reported to keep separate quarters to her husband at the Trump-owned resort and insiders have also been quoted as saying she is "enjoying life" there.
She is said to be spending her time with regular spa visits and posh lunches as she continues the "Be Best" campaign work she started in the White House, focusing on well-being for young people and advocating against cyberbullying and drug use.
But despite the special occasion of her birthday on Monday, Donald didn't make a public statement about the big day.
The Trump website archives show that he last sent out a statement on Saturday, April 24, two days before Melania's special day.
The campaign did send out a digital card encouraging supporters to sign it, however this was also used as an attempt to get supporters to donate money, The Times reports.

In the style of Trump's old tweets scattered with capital letters, an email sent on Sunday read: "We know how much the First Lady means to YOU so we're going to give you ONE MORE chance to sign her card, but you must ACT FAST!"
But far from being a sweet birthday message from her husband, people were taken to a page that encouraged them to make a donation to make a sizeable donation to the party's coffers they had signed the birthday card.
The recommended $100 option was automatically selected to remove any doubt of how much was appropriate to give.
The page, which features a snap of Melania, said: "We are working hard to defend the Trump Legacy from Biden and the Radical Left, but we need you to join us!
"We only need a few more donations today to stay on track will you quickly step up and help close the gap?"
It's not the first time they have used Melania's birthday to try to gain political favour.
Last year, the Trump campaign used Melania's digital birthday card to compile a list of Trump supporters ahead of the US Elections, The Atlantic reports.

Melania did share a photo on her Instagram page on the day, where she thanked people for their messages.
She wrote: "Thank you to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes!"
The photo may have revealed Donald's present to his wife, as Melania shared the image of a beautiful white rose, said to be a symbol of purity, alongside the message.
The Trumps are yet to reveal exactly what Donald got Melania for her birthday, although he doesn't exactly have the best track record in this department.

On Christmas Eve 2019, Trump admitted he was “still working” on getting his first lady a holiday gift – with less than 24 hours to go until the big day.
While taking part in a video conference call with members of the US military stationed overseas during the holiday season, Mr Trump reportedly told a soldier who asked him what he got the first lady for Christmas.
He is reported to have said: “I got her a beautiful card."
He added: "I’m still working on a Christmas present."
