A passenger on a RyanAir flight has scooped up an £83k jackpot after buying a £2 scratch card on their flight to Portugal.
Laura Mereacre had purchased the scratch card while travelling with RyanAir and landed herself some huge winnings while heading to Portugal with her family.
Mereacre, who moved from Portugal to Liverpool five years ago, was accompanied by her husband and two children while aboard the flight taking them to Europe, with the mum-of-two purchasing a scratch card while travelling with RyanAir.
The lucky Liverpudlian-based lass bagged herself the tens of thousands on a lucky scratch card punt and has plenty of plans for her winnings.
Laura said: "This has been an amazing experience that I'm delighted to be a part of. Words can't describe how lucky and blessed I feel by this amazing opportunity.
"When I purchased this scratch card on a Ryanair flight to Portugal, I never imagined myself as the lucky winner of €100,000.
"I’m looking forward to celebrating my winnings with my family who is here with me today, my friends back home and paying off my mortgage.
"Who knows, I may even open my own bakery one day – a huge passion of mine."

The mum-of-two was hopeful that the funding would provide her with the funds for a potential bakery establishment, along with enough cash to pay off her mortgage.
She also said that some of the money would be spent celebrating with family and friends, in a nice gesture that sees part of the earnings dedicated to her loved ones, LiverpoolEcho reports.
Laura added: "I’m very proud to have supported Ryanair, who in turn support the great work of so many charities, including the UK’s Naomi House & Jacksplace, who work with life-limited and life-threatened children and young adults, as well as with their families."
