No deputies were injured when the man fired a shotgun at them, according to a tweet from the sheriff’s office.

There is no threat to the public, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a 1:44 p.m. tweet.

The incident happened in the area of Callae and Piano Meadows drives, the sheriff’s office said. A short stretch of each of those roads is closed during the investigation.
