Meghan and Harry share glimpse into ‘new Montecito garden’ that is ‘to die for’

Royal fans have been left gobsmacked at what appears to be Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new garden from their Montecito mansion in California, US.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into the huge house, reported to be worth £11.5m, in June having left the UK for the US after stepping back from the Royal Family.

They made a passionate speech about voting for Time 100 yesterday, sitting on a bench surrounded by greenery.

The garden stretches out some distance behind them and finishes with a forest-like collection of trees.

There also seems to be some sort of field to the right of Meghan, although it is not clear who that belongs to.

There is no official confirmation that the video was taken from their home, but at one point Meghan’s dog makes an appearance in the background.

Royal fans have been quick to voice their amazement at the picturesque setting on Twitter.

“Harry and Meghan’s garden must be 10 times the size of Frogmore Cottage, beautiful,” one viewer wrote.

Another commented: “Beautiful house and garden sitting on 7.4 acres of land.”

While someone else wrote: “That garden is to die for.”

Meghan and Harry missed out on the Time 100 most influential list for this year, despite their appearance yesterday.

In it, the Duke of Sussex made his first comments on the upcoming US elections in November.

“This election – I’m not going to be able to vote here in the US,” he said.

“But many of you may not know that I haven’t been able to vote in the UK my entire life.

“As we approach this November, it is vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.”
