At least 152 wildfires have been recorded in Western Canada, officials have said. Most fires have been caused by lightning strikes following a record-smashing killer heatwave responsible for around 700 Canadian deaths.
Officials believe 89 of the wildfires have started in the last two days. The fires are located north of the city of Kamloops, 350 kilometres (217 miles) northeast of Vancouver.
