National Lottery searching for 2020 prize winners who haven’t claimed huge wins

The National Lottery are on a hunt for five 2020 jackpot winners who are yet to claim big prizes on the EuroMillions and Set For Life draws.

One lucky ticket-holder scooped up a whopping £1m on the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker Christmas Day draw.

It has not been confirmed where the winner is from but Camelot did reveal the ticket was bought in a National Lottery retailer.

Four other prizes are yet to be claimed for too, three of which won a life changing £10,000 a month for a year prize.

The winners all purchased the tickers for the December 28 draw and Camelot is urging all players to take five minutes to check.

A winner from the December 29 EuroMillions could kick the year off with a bang as £1m is still yet to be claimed.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “The National Lottery’s festive season draws have delivered some real cheer to lucky players, with plenty of prize winners.

"The draws have not long happened but now it’s a case of urging all National Lottery players to check their tickets.

"Imagine what winning one of these amazing prizes would mean – any one of them would certainly be one unforgettable late Christmas present!"

He added: "“We’re urging players to take five minutes at this busy time of year to check for the chance to claim these life-changing prizes.

"We’re hoping to add to the £4BN paid out in prize money in 2020, the incredible 391 new millionaires made and the astounding 817 winning tickets worth £50,000 or more that have changed the lives of their owners."

The next jackpot is tonight (January 1) where Brits will get the opportunity to play for a whopping jackpot of £38m.

Camelot have also guaranteed at least 10 people will be made overnight millionaires, raising the stakes for New Year's Day.

People can buy and check tickets in their local store or, if they prefer, they can play online at or by downloading the National Lottery app.

Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.

You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
