People are seemingly convinced the Grim Reaper is real and roaming the streets of the UK after police issued a hilarious public appeal.
North Yorkshire Police took to Facebook on Tuesday (May 23) asking the public for help identifying a man spotted in CCTV footage.
The post explained: "We would like to speak to him following a burglary in Acomb on 7 May when a house was entered during the day and items stolen.

"We believe the man in the image will have important information that could help our investigation."
The bloke appeared dressed head to toe in black, with a black hood pulled over his pale bald head.
Unsurprisingly, the people of the internet were quick to mock the image with comparisons including "Voldemort" and "Skeletor".
One comment read: "Grim Reaper. Run for your life!" With another exclaiming: "Grim Reaper !??"
Another Facebook user urged police to "check with the local undertakers".
"Holy cr*p that's the walking dead," a fourth said.
One commenter shared an image of The Scream, the iconic painting created by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in 1893 showing a bald white figure dressed in black. The commenter added: "Artist's impression has just arrived."
Another person suggested that the bloke may have been wearing a "Halloween mask" while another said: "He deffo dug himself up."
Police urged anybody who recognised the man to get in touch with them, either by email to [email protected] or by calling 101, selecting option two and asking for PC 1278 Thomas Dennis.
The Facebook post added: "If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
