A group of sadistic firefighters who rescued some stray dogs have sparked outrage after they filmed themselves torturing and killing the poor animals.
The revolting footage emerged on social media this week and shows firefighters in Coahuila, Mexico, battering the dogs with axes and pipes.
Some of the clips show the men playing with the dead animals, allegedly inside municipal facilities.

Another video shows one man pinning a dog down with a rope while another, wearing a firefighter's uniform, repeatedly bashes it with a pipe while smiling.
César Flores Sosa, a congressional candidate for the MORENA political party in the state of Coahuila, shared the footage and denounced the men.
Sosa also said he had filed a criminal complaint for animal abuse against the people involved.
Mario Dávila Delgado, mayor of the town of Monclova, said that the footage isn't recent and that the events shown occurred some time ago under a different administration.
He also reassured the public that there would be a thorough investigation and criminal proceedings will be initiated.
According to Delgado, two of the three men in the clips no longer work as firefighters. The one still employed by the municipality has been suspended whilst the investigation is conducted.
According to some local media outlets, the abuse took place under the administration of former mayor Alfredo Paredes López, who is currently a congressional candidate for the Va Por México electoral coalition.
The Mexico City Fire Department (with whom the men in the video are not associated) condemned the animal abuse, saying "it makes us sad and unworthy".
