A student who disappeared last month is believed to have thrown herself off of Niagara Falls after a break-up.
Saniyya Dennis, 19, text her boyfriend "I think I am going to kill myself" after he broke their relationship off on April 24.
On the evening of her disappearance, Erie County District Attorney John Flynn said Dennis' boyfriend, who lives in New York City, split up wit the teen following an argument.
She tried to call him 66 times before texting him: "I’m not feeling good- I think I’m going to kill myself."
A short while later she added: "I’m so done with my own life I’ve had enough."
Dennis then spoke to a friend who told police she also made suicidal references to him during a four-hour-long conversation.
The friend told the New York Police Department he thought he had been able to talk the teen out of suicide.
Shortly before she was last seen on camera, Dennis text the friend: "Glad we talked," before telling her mum she loved her and she would call tomorrow.
Mr Flynn said she was spotted by park cameras along a trail towards Goat Island, a small island in the middle of Niagara Falls, at 12.17am on April 25.
At around 1am the teen took a Snapchat near the Nikola Tesla monument, and at 1.20am she text her male friend letting him know she was on a bus back to Buffalo.
A minute later, her cellphone service left the network because it had either been switched off or destroyed.

"An exhaustive search and review of the evidence has been done and it appears that this poor girl took her own life," Flynn told reporters.
He said: "My office and our partners in law enforcement have found no evidence of any criminality in this case.
"All evidence indicates that Saniyya ended her own life, but the investigation into her disappearance will not be closed until she is found."
