A teenager was shot dead in cold blood by a nine-year-old boy after a "fight broke out over a bottle of Gatorade" between the pair, her family claim.
Nykayla Strawder, 15, was found riddled with gunshot wound on the porch of her family home by her distraught family.
She was rushed to hospital, where she later died as a result of her injuries.

Cops who attended the scene first said Strawder and her nine-year-old neighbour had been playing with a loaded gun on the porch where she was found in West Baltimore, US, on Saturday night (August 6).
It was understood by police the boy "accidentally" shot the teen before dropping the gun, which was later found to be registered to a family member of the boy, who works as a security guard.
Because of his age, the alleged shooter cannot be criminally charged.
Instead, under Maryland Law the relative who owns the gun would be liable to a charge of leaving a gun accessible to a minor, a misdemeanour punishable by a $1,000 (£817) fine.
But Nykayla's family aren't satisfied with the explanation given by police, and want their beloved girl's killer to be brought to justice.
Relatives claim that the killing was intentional and happened after the children got into an altercation over a bottle of energy drink Gatorade. They are now demanding that prosecutors file criminal charges against the child.

A vigil was held on Tuesday (August 9) to honour Nykayla, and family members took the opportunity to express their anger.
Her father, Dontay Jones, told WBAL-TV: "I couldn’t describe to you how it feels to find my child on my porch, on her own porch, murdered.
"(The nine-year-old boy) took my daughter’s Gatorade from her, and when she turned around and asked for her Gatorade, he raised that pistol to my child’s head and murdered her in cold blood.
"They were not playing with a gun at all."
He added, speaking to the Baltimore Sun: "How do you not notice your gun was missing? There is no excuse, knowing there’s a child in the home and not keeping your gun hidden.
"Our daughter is never coming back. We’ll be looking down at our daughter in a casket. I’ll never see her smile again."
