Teenager with six pack left looking nine months pregnant by cancerous tumour

A perfectly fit and healthy teenager claims he was left "looking nine-months pregnant" after going to the doctors while suffering with cramps.

Litherland lad Kyle Smith was hoping to study accounting at a local college when he began to experience severe cramp like symptoms in May.

The 18-year-old spoke to the ECHO : "A month before I was diagnosed, I started noticing issues when going the bathroom. My water stream tended to cut off and I had pain cramps in my stomach.

"It kept getting worse so I went to see the GP, and he done a urine sample to see if I had a urine infection and that come back clear."

Still suffering from painful stomach cramps, Kyle went back to his GP a week later who performed a physical examination but couldn't find anything that could be causing the pain.

Kyle went back to the GP to complain that the painful cramps were continuing to get worse.

The GP performed a physical examination but couldn't find anything that could be causing the pain.

Kyle took himself to A&E a few days later after the cramps became unbearable.

He added: "Several doctors said I looked anaemic. I'd lost a little bit of weight over the past month as well, which my mum noticed as well."

He said: "I went from having a six-pack to looking nine-months pregnant.

The young boy says that the support of his mum and girlfriend has been vital in helping him stay positive throughout the horror ordeal.

He said: "The emotions you go through – denial, regret. It just makes you appreciate the little things in life and how you can take them for granted compared to someone my age partying and going out and you're just thinking that's not my life anymore.
