Two hospitalized after shooting at Rancho El Corazon bar, suspect still at-large, Greeley police say

Greeley police are searching for a suspect who shot at patrons outside of a Greeley bar Saturday night.

At 11:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Rancho El Corazon bar located at 125 east 18th St.

Officers arrived at the “chaotic crime scene” with two victims shot, according to a Greeley police news release. Both victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive.

Further investigation revealed the masked suspect arrived outside the bar in a vehicle, exited the vehicle and fired multiple rounds from a rifle at people standing outside, the release said.

Prior to the officer’s arrival, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

This investigation is unrelated to the shooting that occurred at Family Dollar Wednesday, according to police.
