Vladimir Putin allegedly has two secret sons with former Olympic gymnast mistress, Alina Kabaeva – but they aren't twins, a new report has claimed.

The latest report in the Swiss newspaper Sonntagszeitung allegedly confirms rumours of the Putin-Kabaeva family but disputes the speculation that the secret sons of the Russian president were twins.

The article claims that the first son was born in secret in Switzerland amid huge security in 2015, according to a source linked with the obstetrician from Clinica Sant’ Anna in Ticino, Switzerland.

The second son was delivered in Moscow in 2019 with the same specialist flying to Russia for the birth.

Rumours began circulating about Putin's relationship with the 38-year-old in 2007 – however, the Russian leader has persistently denied there has been any attachment between them.

It also claims he has hidden his alleged secret family from voters and was not present at either of the boys’ births.

The paper reported: “Our source says clearly: ‘Alina’s relationship with Putin existed. Their children – two sons – are Putin’s children. Alina had no other relationship. That would have been too dangerous for her.’”

The obstetrician claimed to have “maintained a trusting relationship with Putin” and "had to keep the whole thing very discreet."

The news comes after the alleged mistress had dramatically reappeared with a “new look” following rumours she had been hiding in a Swiss bolthole or a Siberian nuclear bunker.

Alina surfaced at a junior rhythmic gymnastics rehearsal in Moscow ahead of the annual Alina Festival charitable event scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 22.

They immediately sparked speculation that she had used the same cosmetic surgeon as Putin amid claims of botox and fillers.
