A woman found an abusive sticker on her car, telling her to "stop parking like a c***".
Allison Moore was staying on Guidborough's Westgate for a week-long break and left her car parked on a nearby road.
Allison, from Salford in Manchester, said Westgate had "zero parking facilities" and had left her vehicle parked on Cobble Carr when she discovered the angry note.
She had attempted to park "considerately", she said, and has branded the sticker as "cowardly" and "very childish", reports TeesideLive.
She also said motorists "have to park somewhere".
Allison claims she hadn't parked near a driveway or blocked window views, but had another resident on a different street telling her not to park there either.
"Got to my vehicle today and found this sticker some lovely person has stuck on my window," she posted on social media.
"I was parked on the top of [Cobble Carr], not near to anyone's drive way or blocking window view.
"I was trying to park considerately and not to annoy anyone.
"Big fail on that one.

"If you are on Westgate, can the person tell me where are you meant to park?
"I appreciate nobody wants anyone to park outside their house or on their road but people have to park somewhere.
"This is a cowardly act and very childish, whoever it was you should be so proud of yourself, I just hope you don't start to damage vehicles next."
Allison told Teesside Live: "I had been here on a little break and have no parking facilities.
"I had been trying to considerately park some where everyday.
"I had this sticker and another resident on a different street telling me to not to park there either.

"I wouldn't have done so if there weren't double yellow lines outside."
Since posting on social media, she received a "kind offer" to park on another resident's driveway.
Residents in the town say they hope it "doesn't put her off visiting again".
"Who’d waste their money buying those stickers," wrote one, "too much spare time.
"Most people here are nice."

"This is what happens when keyboard warriors are allowed out of the house," another one added.
One man pointed out it wasn't illegal to park outside someone's house.
"As long as your parked considerately, not on a junction or blocking people's drives, ignore it," he said.
"I'm somewhat sick of this "you're outside my house you can't park there", it makes me want to park their all the more."
But others have agreed that selfish parking is a problem in the town and "plenty of stickers could be stuck around Guisborough".
One poster said: "People's parking is appalling at times, worst when they don't even live in your street but dump there car and walk away elsewhere and the car doesn't move for days, in what is already a congested street for the people that actually live there.
"So many windscreens, so few stickers…," another person wrote, while another said: "Anyone know where I can purchase some of these stickers?
"Asking for a friend of course."
