A young TikTok star has died 'unexpectedly' days after uploading a chilling video.

36-year-old Candice Murley Marystown – known as Candi online – tragically died on Sunday according to her family.

The shocking news came after she said in a video "I hate it when the voices in my head go silent".

Marsha McEvoy, Candi's sister, shared the heartbreaking news on a GoFundMe page where the family hope to raise money to cover the mum-of-one's funeral costs.

She wrote: "We have received some news no one wants to hear, tonight we lost a huge part of our family, my sister Candice.

"This was very unexpected, and our hearts are torn apart.

"We just know she is dancing in the sky now, we all know how much she believed in Heaven, she is certainly there.

"We hope she is happy and free at last away from all her struggles and be her happy and carefree self forever in eternity."

Marsha went on to describe her sister's fan base as "like no other", adding that "she was entertainment at her best".

"Let's now look back at all her videos and keep them as our keepsakes to keep us smiling while we deal with this loss, she will be missed terribly by many," she added.

The post concludes by explaining how the loss was a "massive shock" to the family, and one they were not "financially prepared for".

The GoFundMe (here) has already raised more than its initial goal, now surpassing $17,000 (£12,550).

Candi leaves behind Marsha as well as her husband, Dave, and son, Maxwell.

There were several videos uploaded to her two TikTok accounts in the days and hours before her death.

In one she can be seen discussing her Christmas presents, in another she filmed her cat Stash.

One particularly eerie clip was uploaded two days before her death, in which she lip-synced the words: "I hate it when the voices in my head go silent because then I don't know what those f**kers are up to."

Some fans have left comments on her videos suggesting that she was receiving online abuse.

"I pray the ones that knocked her down daily now re-think the way they acted towards a beautiful soul," said one.

Another wrote: "Instead of hate and bullying, show love and positivity and try reaching out. RIP beautiful, the tears are flowing today."

It is unclear whether any of this was linked to Candi's passing. Her cause of death has not yet been made public.
