There are currently 12 Red Notices issued by Interpol in place for criminal Brits on the run around the world.<\/p>\n
The international policing agency, responsible for hunting down criminals worldwide, only ever issues Red Notices for seriously dangerous folk with 7,100 criminals on its list. One of the most notorious on the lists is Samantha Lewthwaite, known as the White Widow. She is wanted in Kenya on terrorism charges, and is the widow of 7\/7 London bomber Germaine Lindsay. <\/p>\n
She stands accused of causing the deaths of more than 400 people and is linked to several terror attacks, including the Westgate shopping mall bombing in Nairobi which left 71 dead and 200 injured.<\/p>\n

An arrest warrant was issued in 2012, and she is still thought to be wandering around Africa somewhere, evading capture. Another female on the list is Arti Dhir, 59, who was born in Kenya but has British citizenship.<\/p>\n
Former Heathrow baggage handler Ms Dhir and her husband are alleged to have ordered a hitman to carry out the killing of there son in India, which also resulted in Gopal Sejani's brother-in-law's death, so that they could get an insurance payout. <\/p>\n
She is wanted in India, but is currently walking free in London, because UK courts refused to extradite them to India \u2013 despite the Red Notice \u2013 because it was felt it would breach Article 3 of the European Convention of Human Rights.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, they are currently living in a council flat in West London. Wanted further afield, in Myanmar, is Harris John Italo Binotti.<\/p>\n
Born in Scotland, the 31-year-old is wanted for the alleged murder of Gary Ferguson, who was killed in November 2016. The Scottish Sun tracked him down to a flat in Glasgow in 2020, but he hasn't been seen since.<\/p>\n

They wrote: \u201cWhen asked how it felt to still be wanted for murder by Interpol, he locked the motor and fled back inside. He did not show face again for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy dawn the next morning, Binotti\u2019s car had vanished from the street. But it was later spotted behind his mum Helen Stockbridge\u2019s house in Dumfries. There was no response at the family home.\u201d<\/p>\n
Robert Timmins, 70, is wanted in Estonia – and has been on the run since 2011. According to reports at the time, he was being hunted for the death of a neighbour in the town of Kuremae.<\/p>\n

Daren Michael Elarmo is wanted in the United States on two counts of kidnapping for the purpose of committing a lewd action upon a child, and seven counts of oral copulation with a person under the age of fourteen. His last whereabouts are unknown.<\/p>\n
Also on the list is Masood Ul Haq. Although he has duel nationality of British and Pakistan, the 48-year-old is wanted by the latter country.<\/p>\n
He is wanted on terrorism charges, and is alleged to be involved in planning terrorism activities. It is also claimed that he was the leader of a banned terrorist organisation \u2013 although it's not clear which one.<\/p>\n

He is described as having a cut mark on his right hand and a slight limp when walking. No details were given on his last known whereabouts.<\/p>\n
Mohammed Ali Ege is another one wanted in India, but this time for several charges, including cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, punishment for cheating by personation, forgery for purpose of cheating, using as genuine a forged document or electronic record, causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender, and harbouring offender.<\/p>\n

Another appeal for his arrest was made in April in connection with the death of 17-year-old Aamr Siddiqi in Cardiff in April, 2010 \u2013 although that is not part of why he is wanted in India. His current whereabouts are unknown.<\/p>\n
Also wanted in India is Asif Iqbal Mohammed Memon on money laundering charges. Notices were also issued against his relatives Hajra and Junaid \u2013 no sightings have been made public in at least three years, however.<\/p>\n

Ibraheem Masood is wanted in Pakistan on terrorism charges for planning activities as well as \u201cthe nefarious designs against state and also heading banned organisations.\u201d He is said to have a black mole on his neck, with no recent sightings give by Interpol.<\/p>\n
Ramesh Philippe Dusoruth is a wanted man in Bermuda on three counts of giving the Bermudan Monetary Authority false information, one count of fraud and one count of removing criminal property.<\/p>\n
John Collin has been on the list for several years, with officials in Malaysia attempting to track him down. He is awaiting punishment for charges of murder and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.<\/p>\n

And finally, British national Ahmad Omar Saeed Sheikh, of Wanstead, in east London, was sentenced to death in 2002 for the murder and abduction of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. He has been in jail for 18 years awaiting the outcome of an appeal, but was released in January 2021. He remains on the Interpol list with the United States demanding his capture.<\/p>\n
