The plan was concocted with Camelot employee Giles Knibbs, who worked in the company\u2019s fraud detection unit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31057992.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Edward-Putman-court-case.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Knibbs made a fake ticket and Putman submitted it just days before the six-month time limit to claim the jackpot was about to expire.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to the Mirror, Pulman may have \u00a3355,000 after settling his debt.<\/p>\n<p>The property and adjoining land, in Kings Langley, Herts, was sold under the Proceeds of Crimes Act.<\/p>\n<p>Although the house was run-down and damaged in a blaze last October with a large hole in the roof, the land next to the house made it appealing for developers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31057993.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Lottery-winner-Edward-Putman-house.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30969892.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_Lucky-lotto-player-scoops-\u00a3468k-after-being-sold-ticket-to-wrong-game-by-mistake.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Lucky lotto player scoops \u00a3468k by mistake after being sold ticket to wrong game<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>James Ashworth, of Landwood Property Auctions, said: \u201cThe property exceeded our expectations with more than one bid per second.
