The relationship between Prince William and brother Prince Harry is so badly damaged that there is \u201cno going back,\u201d a Royal expert has claimed.<\/p>\n
The brothers have been at war for most of the last few years, with a series of tell-all interviews and an explosive book from the Duke of Sussex leaving his relationship with brother William in tatters.And now a new book written by Omid Scobie, a close friend of Harry and wife Meghan Markle, contains claims that the relationship stands no chance of being repaired.<\/p>\n
He wrote, in the book called Endgame, which has been serialised in People: \u201cI was talking to a source quite early on in the process, and they called Harry a \u2018defector\u2019 and said that was William\u2019s view. These were two men who once upon a time were firmly aligned in their outlook. One of them had to move on to also protect the crown.<\/p>\n

"There\u2019s a real chance here to learn and adapt to modern society and also make up for mistakes of the past. It\u2019s their move. These are probably sad realizations that will be had far too late in the journey \u2013 in the eyes of some within the institution, Harry is a threat to the crown.<\/p>\n
\u201cHis freedom to exert his own thinking outside of the confines of the institution has made him the enemy, which is why for the brothers there\u2019s no going back.\u201d The book is expected to send shockwaves through the British public upon its release on November 28.<\/p>\n

This is the latest in a series of books penned by Scobie containing shock allegations about the royals. In Finding Freedom, written with Carolyn Durand, the author outlined an early warning sign when cracks began to show between Harry, William and their father, King Charles, on his 70th birthday.<\/p>\n
Both sons failed to make an effort for their dad's big day and a royal photoshoot reportedly turned into a royal nightmare after neither stepped up to coordinate the event. "Neither William nor Harry made much of an effort to make themselves available," the book said, quoting a source.<\/p>\n
The Daily Star has contacted Harry and Meghan's representatives and Buckingham Palace for comment.<\/p>\n
