Estonia is pointing fingers at Russia, claiming that Vladimir Putin is intentionally directing migrants toward its border.<\/p>\n
It comes after Finland decided to close most of its border crossings with Russia.<\/p>\n
Finland alleges that Russian guards are actively encouraging people from countries like Yemen, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Syria to try to cross into Finland.<\/p>\n
Russia denies Finland’s claims, and there’s been no official response to Estonia’s similar accusations.<\/p>\n
Finland’s Prime Minister, Petteri Orpo, recently announced the closure of four border crossings, stating that Russia is assisting undocumented individuals trying to reach the border. Finland is now closing all border crossings except one in the north.<\/p>\n
