And there are two boarding school options \u2013 Kate&apos;s former school of Marlborough College, or the future King&apos;s choice of Eton College.<\/p>\n<p>This, a source claimed, has been a bone of contention between them \u2013 and King Charles had to get involved to help sort it out. While the royal family expected that George would follow in William\u2019s footsteps, Kate got the final say: They\u2019ll both be students at Marlborough. This way, George and Charlotte will have a few years where they\u2019ll overlap at the same school. Kate has fond memories of her time there and feels it\u2019s a better fit for her children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prince George is due to start next year, meaning Princess Charlotte will be torn from her current school in order to spend more time with her brother at Marlborough.
